Quotes have only one special attribute. They allow you to set the author of the quote. The author will then be displayed below the quote with a special formatting.
:: author: "William Shakespeare"
> To be or not to be
If there is no space or , in the name of your author, you don't need the quotes:
:: author: Hamlet
> To be or not to be
